Shearwater Group (SWG) has secured a £1.7 million contract through its subsidiary Brookcourt Solutions to provide advanced cyber threat intelligence services to an existing UK Central Government customer over two years.
The new agreement replaces an expired contract and expands the services provided, with additional platform capabilities and coverage for more users. It was secured through the G-Cloud 15 framework, following the expansion of Brookcourt's offering announced in August 2026.
Under the contract, Brookcourt will supply an advanced threat intelligence platform designed to help protect GOV.UK websites and services, UK citizens and the government's wider supply chain from cyber threats and fraudulent activity.
The platform will enable the department to identify and respond to potential threats at an early stage, allowing it to take preventive action before attacks affect government services or members of the public.
The agreement further strengthens Brookcourt's position within Central Government and reflects growing demand for proactive cyber security solutions to protect critical digital infrastructure.
Shearwater Group's Chief Executive Officer Phil Higgins said: "We are delighted to have secured this contract, building on our existing relationship with the department and expanding the capabilities and user coverage we support. The platform will help support the protection of GOV.UK services and the millions of UK citizens who interact with government digitally.
Cyber threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated, extending well beyond attacks on an organisation's own infrastructure. Threat intelligence provides the ability to identify many of the risks before they result in a successful attack, allowing organisations to take pre-emptive action.
This contract further strengthens Brookcourt's position as a trusted cyber security partner to Central Government and demonstrates our ability to deliver and support complex cyber security solutions within highly sensitive environments."
