Research on Avacta Group PLC (AVCT:LON) from Trinity Delta

Avacta is a differentiated oncology specialist that is progressing its pre|CISION tumour-activated Peptide Drug Conjugate (PDC) platform through clinical studies. The FOCUS-01 trial continues to enrol, and new preclinical data show consistent AVA6103 penetration into the core of tumours, with repeat dosing resulting in recruitment of FAP+ fibroblasts. Additionally, preclinical models show AVA6103 outperformed Enhertu, the lead ADC benchmark, even in large tumour masses. Tumour PK data are anticipated in late-2026/early-2027. AVA6000 (FAP-Dox, faridoxorubicin) also had new data presented at ESMO, with strong efficacy in salivary gland cancer (SGC) as progression free survival (PFS) extended to 11.4 months. FAPI-PET imaging shows persistent FAP expression in tumours with sustained payload release even beyond 10 cycles of therapy. We expect FOCUS-01 efficacy news flow over the next year to establish the utility, positioning, and value of the pre|CISION platform. Our rNPV-based valuation is £520m/$665m, equivalent to 106p/share.
