Dev Clever (DEV ) has completed its localisation for Canada and is now officially launched in-country with its commercialisation partner, Lenovo.
Software localisation, including language and culture translations to conform with local legal requirements have been made relatively painless for DEV, given their software was designed from the ground up to enable rapid localisation and specification for any global market with minimal modifications to code itself or the user-visible components of the software.
The worldwide partnership agreement with Lenovo also provides the Company with the opportunity to roll out its SaaS-based products across additional territories where Lenovo's new VR Classroom V2 solution is available, starting with the rest of the English speaking world.
Shares in DEV have traded off lows of 2p in March to trade at over 7.7p in early morning trade today.
Chris Jeffries, CEO of Dev Clever, said: "This is a very exciting announcement which demonstrates the Company's ability to both scale its platforms and open up new global territories quickly.
After the successful US launch of our Edtech software in April 2020, I'm excited to be announcing that the platform has now been successfully localised and made available for sale in Canada, a second large international market.
Our platform has been specifically developed to enable localisation and specification for any global market; releasing the product live across Canada so quickly after the US launch evidences that.
We are looking forward to localising the product for further new geographies in due course."
