Company Profile
Goldstone Resources Ltd is an AIM quoted resource development company with projects in West Africa. The Company has a portfolio of gold projects, from exploration to near term development, the principal being the Akrokeri-Homase project in south-western Ghana, which lies c.8km along strike from the Obuasi Gold Mine, one of the world's major gold mines with a total historical and current resource in excess of 70 million ounces of gold. The project holds two former mines, the high grade Akrokeri Mine, which in the early 1900's produced 75,000 oz gold at a final recovered average grade of approximately 24 g/t, and the Homase Pit which AngloGold Ashanti developed in 2002/03 producing 52,000 oz gold at 2.5g/t. It is the Company's intention to bring the Akrokeri-Homase Project into production within two years and then to build a portfolio of high-quality gold projects in Ghana, with a particular focus on the highly prospective Ashanti Gold Belt. GoldStone is supported by its two major shareholders, Paracale Gold Ltd, a mining investment specialist, and BCM International Ltd, one of Africa's largest private contract miners.

William (Bill) Trew
Non-Executive Chairman
Bill has over 35 years\' experience in the engineering and mining industry and is a registered professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa. He has served as a director of a number of mining companies, both public and private. In 1986 he founded MAED Limited, a specialist project management and engineering design company specialising in constructing gold processing plants for the gold mining industry. Under his leadership, MAED has designed and constructed 23 gold processing plants around the globe including Mali, South Africa, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and the Philippines. He was Chief Executive Officer of Oxus Gold plc, where he oversaw construction of three new gold mines (Amantaytau, Vysokovoltnoye and Jerooy). Since then he has held a number of other executive and non executive roles at listed and private mining companies where he has continued building and refurbishing Gold Mines. He is currently chairman of the MAED group of companies and a director of Gold Mines of Uganda and Paracale Gold Limited. He holds a B.Eng. (Mech.) Hon. from the University of Wales Institute Science and Technology, and an M.Eng. from Rand Afrikaans University, Johannesburg.
Emma Priestley
Chief Executive Officer
Emma has a background in mining and financial services having worked with mining companies and consultants, IMC Mackay & Schnellmann, investment bank CSFB, advisers VSA Resources, Ambrian Partners, where she worked as corporate broker and adviser, and most recently as an executive director of Lonrho Plc until its successful takeover. Emma is a graduate of Camborne School of Mines, is a chartered Mining Engineer and Chartered Mineral Surveyor.
Angela List
Non-Executive Director
Angela List, Executive Director of the BCM Group, in charge of Finance and Administration. Prior to this she was a member of the KPMG Ghana Limited audit team, where she successfully carried out audits of major Ghanaian companies, multinational corporations and International banks. With BCM, Angela has successfully expanded BCM activities into West and East Africa and Central Asia. Angela holds a BSc in Administration (Accounting Option) from the University of Ghana, a Masters Degree from the Manchester Executive MBA and completed the PLD program at Harvard University, to become a Harvard Alumn.
Richard Wilkins
Independent Non-Executive Director
Richard is a graduate of Pembroke College, Oxford University, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. After qualifying as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand, he worked in their London and Cairo offices until moving into private business. Richard has considerable experience in emerging markets and the natural resources sector having been a founding director of the Zeravshan Gold Co. (Nelson Gold Group – TSX) in Tajikistan in 1994 and co-founder of the Oxus Gold Group of which he was a director from 1996 to 2017. Oxus produced over 500,000 oz. Au from the Amantaytau Goldfields Mine in Uzbekistan.
Darryl Norton
Chief Operating Officer
Darryl has 35 years of experience in the mining industry internationally, particularly in Africa, the Former Soviet Union & South East Asia. He has significant experience in the Gold mining industry and is also experienced at managing mines and mining projects in difficult locations. Darryl has been an Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of two London listed companies (KazakhGold – main market listing; Oxus Gold – AIM listing). He has also been Projects Director for MAED and other associated companies for over 28 years where he led major projects for gold mining companies such as Apex Mining, Paracale Gold, Gold Mines of Uganda, Oxus Gold, Anglogold, Randgold Resources, Durban Roodepoort Deep. After university, Darryl began work on operations at Unisel Gold Mine in South Africa with Gencor. He has worked on capital projects for Gencor, Fluor, TWP and EL Bateman.
