Company Profile
Established by the Irish government in 1991 following the privatisation of Irish Sugar, Greencore manufactures a wide range of chilled, frozen and ambient foods which it supplies to retailers and food service customers in the UK and US. The company's Food to Go division is one of the world's largest pre-packed sandwich makers, producing more than 600m food to go products a year. The UK convenience business comprises food to go and prepared meals and grocery, while the US business focuses on food to go. Greencore also has an Ingredients and Property division, which is made up of Trilby Trading, Premier and United Molasses.

Gary Kennedy
Chairman
Gary is currently Chairman of Greencore Group plc; Chairman of Green REIT plc and a Non-Executive Director of Friends First Holdings Ltd and Connect Group plc. He also chairs and advises a number of private companies mostly in the technology sector. He has extensive Board and industry experience having been a Board member of Elan plc and IBRC Ltd (Anglo Irish Bank) amongst others and served on the Board of the Industrial Development Authority of Ireland for 10 years, retiring in December 2005. His executive career, beginning with Deloitte, matured with Nortel Networks where he spent 13 years in multi-geographies culminating in him becoming Vice President of Nortel Europe. He spent the latter part of his executive career with Allied Irish Banks plc, where he was Group Director of Finance and Enterprise Technology and a member of its main Board together with subsidiary Boards in the US and Poland.
Patrick Coveney

Patrick joined the Board of Greencore on 5 September 2005 and was appointed Chief Executive with effect from March 2008. Previously he held the position of Chief Financial Officer for the Group. Patrick was a partner with McKinsey & Company, serving as managing partner of McKinsey, Ireland before joining Greencore. Patrick was elected President of The Dublin Chamber of Commerce in February 2012, having been a Council member since 2003. Patrick was appointed a Non-Executive Director of Glanbia plc in May 2014
Alan Williams

Alan was appointed to the Board as Chief Financial Officer on 7 March 2011, having previously held a number of senior positions within the Cadbury Group over an 18 year period, which included the role of Global Corporate Finance Director. He had previously served as head of finance for the US confectionery operations of Cadbury and also of its French beverages business.
