RentGuarantor Holdings (RGG)  has delivered a significant increase in revenue for the eight months to 31 August 2026, with sales climbing 472% year-on-year to £8.45 million, reflecting continued strong demand for its rent guarantee services across the UK private rental sector.

The company said revenue for August alone reached ~£3.17 million, representing year-on-year growth of 1,273% from £231,000 in August 2025.

Customer activity also accelerated significantly. Applications increased 174% to 16,889 during the eight-month period, while completed contracts rose 311% to 8,257. Average revenue per contract increased 39% to ~£1,024, compared with £735 in the corresponding period last year. The August average was higher again at £1,129.

The company said the growth was partly driven by an increasing number of higher-value tenants choosing a professional guarantor rather than paying several months' rent upfront, following the Renters' Rights Act.

The strong revenue growth and scalability of the operating model have also resulted in a significant improvement in profitability. Adjusted EBITDA for the period rose to approximately £2.77 million, compared with an adjusted EBITDA loss of £122,000 in the corresponding period of 2025, excluding costs associated with the company's admission to AIM.

Adjusted net profit reached approximately £2.87 million, compared with an adjusted net loss of £392,000 in the prior-year period.

The board expects the positive trading momentum to continue through the remainder of 2026 and into 2027, supported by the expansion of the company's service offering, structural growth in demand across the sector and an expanding partnership network.

The company is now targeting revenue of more than £14 million and net profit of more than £4 million for 2026. It has also increased its target expectations for 2027 and said it is becoming increasingly confident that its ambition of reaching 100,000 contracts by 2029 is becoming more achievable at current growth rates.

RentGuarantor CEO Paul Foy: "Building on the momentum generated over the first eight months of the year, we remain confident in the Group's prospects for the remainder of 2026 and into 2027. We are seeing an increasing numbers of tenants, landlords and letting agents engage with RentGuarantor, whilst our growing partnership network continues to broaden our reach across the sector. These trends are reflected in August's record performance, with monthly revenue rising 1,273% year-on-year from £231,000 to £3.17 million, and daily applications increasing by 367% to 4,611. Reflecting the ongoing impact of the Renters' Rights Act and the seasonal strength typically seen in the third quarter, this gives us upscaled confidence in the Group's growth trajectory.”

RentGuarantor is showing the sort of operating leverage investors look for in a scaling business. Revenue is accelerating sharply, contract values are rising and claims remain stable, while the move into meaningful profitability gives the growth story greater substance.
