Quantum Data Energy (QDE)  has reported record annual revenue for the year ended 31 December 2025, driven by strong demand for flexible power generation and the improved performance of its wholly owned Pyebridge asset following a major refurbishment programme.

Revenue from electricity sales increased about 121% year-on-year to about £1.6 million. Pyebridge generated about 10,810 MWh of electricity during the year and achieved an average realised power price of £135/MWh - around 67% above the UK wholesale market average of £80/MWh.

The company also strengthened its financial position during the year by completing a £5 million equity fundraise. The proceeds enabled Quantum to settle almost all plc-level liabilities, leaving it with a healthy cash balance to support future growth.

Meanwhile, Quantum secured fully funded construction for its 7.5 MW Hindlip flexible generation project through a £5 million project capital expenditure investment agreement with Powertree. As the funding sits at project level, it is non-dilutive to plc shareholders. Construction is progressing, with commercial production expected in the third quarter of 2026.

The company also expanded its development pipeline by securing exclusive rights to a 25 MW portfolio of flexible generation projects, introduced its AI datacentre power supply strategy and completed a corporate rebrand to reflect its broader strategic direction.

After the year end, Quantum signed a further project investment agreement with Power Balancing Services for its 5 MW Bordesley flexible generation project. The project is now fully funded through construction and is expected to enter commercial production in the fourth quarter of 2026.
