Panther Metals (PALM ) has released details of the third batch of Vibracore sample assay results taken from the Winston tailings project near Schrieber, Ontario.
Results from the Vibracore tailings sampling programme will go towards a new resources estimate, and is the first of a series of ongoing workstreams progressing to quantify, evaluate and permit the contained high-grade gold, gallium, silver, zinc, copper, indium and cobalt and other recoverable minerals located within the historic Winston Lake mine tailings storage facility.
Results from13 Vibracore samples were received this time round, with all showing significant mineralisation, with grades running up to almost a gram per tonne gold in some places.
The results continue to show good grade consistency across the vertical depth-profile and laterally between Vibracore hole collar locations, and support or exceed the 2025 preliminary assay results announced 31 July 2025 and the results announced 17 March 2026.
"The Batch 3 Vibracore assay results continue to highlight the strong production potential offered by the Winston tailings project,” said Darren Hazelwood, chief executive of Panther.
“We are consistently confirming the continuity of mineralisation within the tailings, which closely aligns with our expectations based on our review of the historical production data from the Winston Lake Mine."

Panther continues to confirm the presence of multiple elements at Winston in significant quantities. Exactly how much will be confirmed by the upcoming mineral resource, but there’s clearly an economic opportunity here that’s worth pursuing, especially in today’s volatile world. Ontario is know to be one of the best mining jurisdictions around, and these days having such a rich mineral endowment in the heart of mining country in North America can command a significant premium. Watch for news on the resource.
