ATOME has concluded the funding for the Villeta green fertiliser project, retaining carried interest and completing an equity raise to take its stake in the project to 29.8%. We see this as a strong outcome for the company and totemic for the hydrogen industry. Funding an unsubsidised project that benefits from low-cost, low-carbon, power with a commercial offtake, shows that ATOME’s model works and should be repeatable.
