European Green Transition (EGT)  said its acquisition of the Wind Services business has transformed the group into a revenue-generating critical and renewable infrastructure services company, with trading since completion exceeding expectations.

The group generated revenue of about £6.8 million in the four months following completion of the acquisition on 25 February 2026, while the Wind Services business recorded £8.6 million of revenue across the full six-month period ended 30 June 2026.

Cash stood at about £5.8 million at 30 June 2026.

EGT's repowering orderbook reached 65 signed Heads of Terms by the period end, with 30 planning approvals secured and 20 projects commenced with deposits received. Eight repowering projects had been completed.

The group has identified about 280 qualified repowering prospects across its roughly 900-turbine client base, representing a potential £126 million opportunity.

In addition, EGT increased its interest in Anemos Analytics to 79% from 52% during the period. Anemos was contracted on 133 turbines across the UK at the end of June.

Looking ahead, the board expects the Wind Services business to generate revenue of £17 million to £18 million for the 12 months ending 31 December 2026, although only 10 months of this will be attributable to EGT following the February acquisition.

The group remains on track towards its medium-term target of £50 million annual revenue and double-digit EBITDA margins, while continuing to assess bolt-on acquisitions across the UK, Ireland and Europe.

European Green Transition’s Executive Chair Cathal Friel said: “H1 2026 has been a transformational period for EGT. The acquisition of our Wind Services business has repositioned the Group as a revenue-generating critical and renewable infrastructure services business with strong cash generation potential and clear opportunities for further growth. The trading performance delivered since Completion has exceeded our expectations, supported by a growing repowering orderbook, increasing market activity and continued demand for essential wind turbine operations and maintenance services”

“Our team has continued to deliver strong operational execution whilst expanding the orderbook and pipeline of future opportunities. With a strengthened balance sheet, positive trading momentum and a clear strategy, we believe EGT is well positioned to continue building a leading critical infrastructure services platform across the UK and Ireland.”

EGT's Wind Services acquisition has quickly established a meaningful revenue base, while the growing repowering pipeline provides good visibility for further growth. Strong trading momentum also supports progress towards the group's medium-term revenue and margin targets.
