Amino Technologies (AMO ) said its operating company, 24i, has expanded its deployment with Kabelnoord, a leading provider of Pay TV and fiber to the home in the Netherlands.
The software-led global media technology firm that delivers modern TV experiences detailed that the deployment will enable 24i to launch streaming applications for Smart TVs.
Amino said Kablenoord's decision to expand its partnership with 24i for additional services ‘reflects the deep and highly successful deployment of 24i’s end-to-end solution in 2018.’
To date, the partnership has ‘rapidly’ delivered high demand digital services to Kablenoord's customers including live TV, pause, restart and catch up functionality, the company noted.
Kabelnoord said that with the expanded partnership its customers will now be able to watch over-the-top (OTT) internet content on Smart TVs without needing any additional hardware.
Shares in Amino Technologies have increased by nearly 5% in value over the past month. The stock was trading flat at 158p during late morning trading following the announcement.
