5. US employers added more new jobs than expected in May with payrolls rising by 390,000.
The figure from the US Labor Department beat economists' forecasts for a 325,0000 rise in new roles though May's increase was the slowest for a year.
4. German carmaker Mercedes-Benz is recalling almost 1m older vehicles from around the world because of potential problems with their braking system.
Over the weekend, the company said it will contact owners of the vehicles as their brakes may be affected by what it called "advanced corrosion".
3. People hoping to find a property to rent are going to ever greater lengths to secure a home.
As well as having to find ever bigger deposits, they're offering prospective landlords CVs for their children and photos of their well-behaved dogs because a shortage of available homes is pushing up monthly rents, deposits and leading to bidding wars.
2. Airlines including Easyjet and Wizz Air have cancelled dozens of flights as UK air travel disruption continues.
Easyjet said it had cut 80 flights on Sunday, and apologised to customers for the disruption.
